At Home Volunteer Opportunity!!

Safe Environment and Volunteer hour reminder!
Just a reminder to take time over the Christmas break to make sure your SEW is current and to log your volunteer hours. Hours must be logged under the individual who gave of their time. The office verifies the hours - please leave that blank. Hours will only be verified if SEW is current.
Volunteer
Logging hours: Volunteer hours are logged via your FACTS Family Portal. Volunteer hours must be logged under the person who did the volunteering (choose from the drop down box when you click on Family via your FACTS Family Portal). You cannot verify your own volunteer hours. Once the office has verified that your SEW is current, they will verify hours submitted.
Safe Environment
In order to volunteer in ANY capacity, you must have taken the Safe Environment Face to Face Workshop. This is an in person training that you only take one time. This training includes a background check (good for 5 years). You must renew your SEW annually, online via CMG Connect. To RSVP (this is required) for an in person Face to Face workshops, please following these instructions:
- Go to CMG Connect and create an account
- go to "Live Events" (dashboard on the left)
- Select "Open Events"
- Select the training you are wanting to attend
- Enroll in class
You can also attend an in person class if offered somewhere else in the valley. Just let the instructor know that you are with St. Joseph's Catholic school. Questions? please email mooneyk@stjoes.com
BK Music Department's Winter Concert
The Bishop Kelly High School Band, Choir, Orchestra, and Guitar ensembles are having their winter concert on 12/13 at 7:00pm in the REG at BK. Admission is only $5 for adults, $3 for HS students, $2 for younger students and senior citizens, and kids age 5 or younger are free. Doors will open to the public at about 6:30pm. Do you have pictures from field trips, events like the Fall Carnival, sporting events or fun times with classmates? We want to feature them in the yearbook, send them to yearbook@stjoes.com!

Boise Bits Run Club
St. Joseph's Catholic School is pleased to share that BoiseBits Kids Run Club will be offering their Run Club for their upcoming 8-week Winter Season on site at our school! BoiseBits is an empowerment program that teaches growth mindset, confidence and integrity through fun running games, relays and agility drills. The class is being offered on Tuesdays from 3:15-4:00 starting January 9th. To register, please visit www.boisebits.com and click "register now" and "school partner options" to select St. Joseph's Catholic School. Classes capped at 16 kids.
