Tutoring: After school tutoring pairs NP3 high with middle students who need extra help in the areas of literacy, math, and/or general study skills. The program is offered free of charge and meets after school on Wed 3:10-4pm. Please begin thinking about students you think would benefit some extra support and would be motivated to take advantage of the opportunity. Space is limited. There will time carved out in PD on 8/29 for grade level teams to finalize their lists.
Activities Request Form: Is your club or action team planning an event? Is your grade level going on a field trip? Do you need to reserve space on campus for some reason? Q1 Rally: FridSep 6 is an all Advisory/no enrichment afternoon! Please take your Advisory to the Gym. Release times: 6th at 1:40; 7th at 1:45 and 8th at 1:50.
PARENTS & FAMILIES:
- Pick Up and Drop Off: Safety is hugely important. We kindly request that families use the the parking lot lanes for pick up and drop off for your child. Parking and/or waiting in a bike lane or in a lane of traffic is dangerous, illegal and puts our children at risk.
- Infinite Campus and Grade Checks: Monday grade checks are now digital! Teachers will continue the reflection process in classes at the beginning of each week, while families can support the process at home by checking grades online and checking in with their child at home about it. Although the grade check process hasn't started yet at school, you're welcome to check grades online at any time. First things first, let's chat log-in. Information has been added to the website to assist you in logging in to Infinite Campus to view your student's grades. There are several different ways to access student grades - you have choices. - Infinite Campus and State Test Scores: You can view your student's CAASPP scores on Infinite Campus. - Picture Day: Picture day is Wed Aug 28. Students must be in dress code and will turn in their forms the day the pictures are taken. We do not need forms in advance.
- NP3 MAP Transportation Update: Transportation has added a NP3 ES stop at 7:15am. The stop is for MS students attending MAP and are in need of transportation to the Del Paso Campus.
- Action Team/Club Rush: Get excited! Students will be able to sign up for a variety of club or action teams at lunch Aug 26-30.
- Career Day: NP3 will be hosting our annual Career Day for our 7th grade students on Wed Oct 30. Parents and volunteers will make brief presentations covering their own professions and jobs, while educating NP3 MS students of the daily tasks they perform. If you or someone you know wishes to present please fill out the Career Day form found on our NP3 website and return to Mr. Brinkmann by Sep 25: https://natomasunified.org/content/uploads/sites/16/2019/08/CD-Letter-2019.pdf. If parents or guardians would like to volunteer without presenting, we welcome your help! We are looking for lunch donations and cleanup help. - Let's Get Moovin: Is your student interested in playing soccer or tennis? Let's Get Moovin is offering both sports after school starting mid-August and will continue through Oct.
