Principal's Point
I was recently asked why I use the word "scholars" instead of "students" when I talk to and about our Timberwolves. Well, one of my goals is to have our children see themselves as lifelong learners who are serious about their educational careers. Calling them scholars is just one small step towards them seeing themselves that way, and if they can see it they can definitely become it!
I'm looking forward to another amazing week with scholars! Let's make it a great one on purpose!

News You Can Use
Reporting Cases of COVID-19
Please continue to keep scholars home if they are not feeling well and have symptoms that are associated with Covid-19. Reach out to our registrar, Erika Bryant, to alert her to your child's absence so that they absence can be excused. Please note that scholars who are absent for 3 days or more must return with a written excuse, preferably from a doctor. We thank you for doing your part to keep our school healthy. We, too, are working to keep everyone healthy and safe by minimizing touchpoints, limiting the sharing of materials, cleaning common areas more frequently, misting classrooms nightly, spacing scholars out in the cafeteria during lunch, having classes play in separate recess zones, reminding scholars to wash their hands for at least 20 seconds whenever they go to the restroom, frequently using hand sanitizer and keeping hand sanitizing stations located throughout the campus, having masks available to anyone who would like to wear one, and using bottle fillers instead of the water fountains.
