What do you know about plagiarism?
Use the ideas of others without plagiarising.
What is plagiarism?
The Merriam Webster dictionary says that to plagarise is "to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as your own." Explore this link to discover more. http://kidshealth.org/kid/feeling/school/plagiarism.html
Copying is acceptable.
Yes copying is acceptable if you copy the ideas and transform them into something new. You can copy parts of the original when you are taking notes as long as you put it into your own words when you write up the final piece of work. You still need to give credit for the authors original work but that does not stop you using it.
