The People
Most people in Nigeria speak English and Swahili. The majority of Nigerians are Christians. They are warm and friendly people that take pride in their country. Nigerians typical dress conservatively and like to wear western-style clothing.
LifeStyle
Most families in Nigeria are large. Most young people pick who they want to marry but some marriages are still arranged by the parents. People in Nigeria eat goat, beef, lamb and chicken. Soccer is the most popular sport. Kenyans celebrate many religious holidays, such as Christmas and Easter.
Government
Nigeria has an elected president and a National Assembly. Nigeria's economy is based on agriculture. Their main crops are corn, wheat, rice and cassava. School is required for all children ages 6-14. Only about half of all Nigerians have access to basic health care.
