Physical Characteristics
Weedy plant that tends to be ground-hugging and has 5 yellow petals that flower and arise from the leafy joints along the stems. The fruits of this plant resemble a tiny strawberry except the fruit has no flavor and contains no juice. It's flowering height can reach up to 2 and a half inches and the stem length can get to be more than 1 foot.
Habitat
Open areas in fields, prairies, and woods. Usually found in urban, suburban, and disturbed areas. The plant is native to eastern and southern Asia.

The "weeds" grow in lawns over the U.S. and they have a special chemical lawn-treatment specialist that comes out and to kill them. There have been pesticides made to kill the plants.
