Grant Workshop for Teachers
February 24, 2015 * 4:30-6:00 p.m. * Mayerson Academy
Interested in a $1,000 grant for your classroom?
The Greater Cincinnati Foundation (GCF) is now accepting applications for its two Grants for Kids programs, Summertime Kids and Learning Links, which benefit thousands of children each year through grants of up to $1,000 to schools and nonprofit organizations for special projects.
Attendees will leave the workshop with a broad understanding of both grant programs, projects that are typically funded, and most importantly, how to complete and submit the 2-page grant application.
Copies of the application will be provided at the workshop.
Come with a great idea; Leave with a great grant!
Learning Links for Educators
Learning Links was created to provide small grants to teachers for special projects that have a positive impact on any segment of the school. Educators from schools in Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren counties in Ohio; Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties in Kentucky; and Dearborn County, Indiana, may apply for the 2016-2017 school year. The deadline for application submission is May 16, 2016. Grants will be awarded in September 2015.
Summertime Kids
The Summertime Kids program seeks to provide school-age youth with constructive, safe, fun, and educational summer activities. Nonprofit organizations (including schools) in all eight counties may now apply for Summertime Kids grants for projects that will take place during summer 2016. All applications must be postmarked by March 21, 2016 to be considered. Grants will be awarded in May 2016.
