Principal's Corner
Hello Natoma Station Families,
Last Week of School
There is a lot of excitement around the last week of school and many fun activities are planned. It is also a bitter-sweet time, with many of our students excited for summer but also sad to no longer spend their days with the teacher and classmates that they have come to know well and love. This change is difficult for many of our Cheetahs. Our teachers and staff make every effort to maintain daily routines to provide the structure that our students need during this time. It is helpful for families to also maintain routines at home, especially bedtime routines, so that our Cheetahs come to school rested and ready to learn and fully participate in all school activities. Thank you for your support in making the end of the year successful for our students.
Natoma Station Yearbooks Are Here!
Yearbooks will go home on Monday, May 22 with students who pre-ordered them. Our yearbook cover contest winners are: Shayann Khan designed the front cover and Sia Kumar designed the back cover. Congratulations! All yearbook designs have been included in the yearbook! We have an additional 15 yearbooks available in our front office for purchase for $20 cash - first come, first serve. You can also still order a yearbook online. Please call our office for additional information.
Field Day
We still need 5 parent volunteers for field day. Please check out the flyer below to sign up as a volunteer to help out on Wednesday, May 24th. It is a fun-filled morning for our Cheetahs and we could not have it without parent support and help.
Regular Minimum Days Next Week
Next week, we will be on a regular minimum day schedule 8:15 AM - 1:21 PM for students in grades 1-5 and kindergarten students will be on an ALL Early schedule 8:15 - 11:21.
Thank you for your support and partnership!
Last Day of School
Thursday, May 25 is the last day of school. We will be celebrating the promotion of our 5th grade students to middle school from 9:00 - 10:00 AM in the multipurpose room and then we will walk around the campus for a whole-school clap out. Our kindergarten students will be showing off their amazing performance skills from 10:45 - 11:15 AM in our outdoor amphitheater.
