Week of November 27
A Message from the Principal
Leaders,
I hope you have allowed yourselves to connect with family and friends during this Thanksgiving week. It is important that, in all of our hard work, we must remember to take care of ourselves as well as those who love us. Love, laughter, and fun are important traits in feeding our soul, mind, and body. While the work we do is important, remembering to replenish ourselves as we continue our journey to Academic Excellence is equally important.
Here's to a great week of teaching and learning! Please reach out should you have any questions.

Poor Students, Richer Teaching!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the team for doing an amazing job with our book study "Poor Students, Richer Teaching". We visited the math PLC and they had a very creative way of engaging in the book study through a skit/role play that was very entertaining. We are really proud to see the level of commitment to the study and growing as a team as we support scholarly achievement. As we continue with our book study "Poor Students, Richer Teaching", please read chapters 6 for next week's PLC's. We are embarking on researched based practices that will transform mindsets on scholar achievement!

Research of the Imagine/Think-Through-Math program has shown scholars completing 30 or more lessons successfully have a greater chance of passing the state accountability assessments. Congratulations to Ms. Thomas for leading in 4 of the 5 places in lessons completed. Also, huge shout out to Ms. Murry class in 4th place with 14 lessons passed.
