Happy Earth Day!
“He that plants trees loves others beside himself.” Thomas Fuller
"What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.” Jane Goodall
This has been a very productive and engaging week for our koalas! Thank you for showing up each day and providing the best learning opportunities for our students. Your planning and vested in our students does not go unnoticed!
I know many of our staff feel a sense of uncertainty about next year, and I truly empathize and understand. I am hoping and praying for positive outcomes. Thank you for your dedication and professionalism.
Open House: Thank you for providing a fun, informative and community building experience for our students and families yesterday. The event was a success! We had a great turnout with lots of happy students and families! Your classrooms and bulletin boards looked engaging and represented learning, growing, and progress. I received a lot of positive feedback from parents, grandparents, and uncles. It was a lovely event, and well done! Thank you!
Spring Math Challenge: Don’t forget! We are extending a challenge to all students in grades 3-5 to finish their grade level in ST Math by May 1st. All students that complete their grade level by May 1st will be able to participate in an Ice Cream Party. Spring Math Challenge Flyer
IEPS: Due to the high number of IEPs and assessments, we have a substitute providing coverage during the day. If you are attending an IEP during the school day, please be sure you have created explicit and meaningful sub plans for the substitute. Thank you!
PE EQUIPMENT: Classroom teachers, please remember we have PE equipment in storage. You will need to retrieve the equipment prior to school starting, and plan for it as it is locked. It is a great time of year to introduce new games, activities, etc. Kickball game coming soon!
Post and Bid: It's crucial for us to adapt and grow alongside the changing needs of our students and parents. The needs have changed considerably in the past years, which presents us with challenges and opportunities for personal and professional development. Post and Bid opens Monday, April 22- May 2nd., where numerous vacancies are currently available. There may be opportunities that better align with your career aspirations and personal preferences. I think this important to note, that there are opportunities for change for teachers in our district.
LIVE WELL THIS WEEKEND!
