Important Flyers to Look At!
Academy Day 2022
Senator Mark Warner invites high school and middle school students, their parents or guardians, and school counselors to Academy Day 2022. Attendees will have the opportunity to join breakout sessions with representatives from the United States service academies for presentations and an interactive question and answer period.
On the main stage, you will hear from representatives from the Virginia congressional delegation about the application procedures for congressional nominations to the academies as well as speakers from the Department of Defense Medical Examination Review Board, the University of Virginia ROTC programs, the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets, the Virginia Military Institute, and the Virginia Women’s Institute for Leadership at Mary Baldwin University. There will also be time to speak in more detail with many of these representatives at their virtual resource tables.

This year, GoZen! is teaming up with our colleague and friend Sarah Snow to run a powerful internship program.
Sarah is an international filmmaker who creates content that challenges the way we see the world. She started her career at age 19 and by age 22, she was awarded one of the Top 100 Most Creative People by Fast Company. Her videos have garnered over 500 million organic views and have changed lives everywhere.
For the 2022 Teen Summer Internship, GoZen is combining our mental health know-how with Snow Media's deep expertise in storytelling to provide an experience for teens that will be educational, challenging, and chock-full of fun.
If you are a teen, have a teen, or know a teen who is interested in mental health, comfortable on camera, and looking for a paid summer gig, this might be the perfect fit! Applications are open and due by April 8th. You can find all the relevant details (start dates, minimum age, deadlines, etc.) and apply here:
