Bus schedules/routes available through Traversa Ride 360
New for 2022-2023 school year - Snohomish School District is now using Traversa Ride 360!
Traversa Ride 360 provides secure access to student bus schedule/routing information. Traversa Ride 360 provides quick access to your child's bus schedule/routing information, which can include the bus stop, route, and bus number. This is accessible on mobile devices, and confidential and secure. This program can be accessed via the web or mobile app and is free to download and use. The user guide can be downloaded by clicking one of the links below:
- How to access the Traversa Ride 360 website - English
- How to access the Traversa Ride 360 website - Spanish
Parents/guardians will still need to use their student ID# and student date of birth to add their student to the app.
Traversa Ride 360 website - https://wasnohomishsd201.traversaride360.com/
Posted bus routes and pick-up and drop-off times are approximate. Please remember that traffic, weather and other unforeseen circumstances may cause some routes to be early or delayed. Also, as students choose not to ride or to ride the bus during the school year, pick-up and drop-off times are adjusted. For example, the elimination of just one bus stop (because students no longer ride or are absent from stop on a particular day) can affect a route by 2-3 minutes. It is recommended that parents and students arrive at their bus stops at least five (5) minutes prior to the published times.
It is our district’s practice that kindergarteners will not be let off the bus unless the student’s parent/guardian (or designated adult) is at the bus stop at the time of student drop-off. Kindergarteners whose parents are not at the bus stop will be returned to the student’s elementary school where the parent/guardian (or emergency contact) will be called for student pick-up.
If you see an issue with your child’s transportation information, parent transportation assistance is currently available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. by calling 360-563-3525 or emailing transportation@sno.wednet.edu.
Note: Parents/guardians of students on choice transfer/variance or in-district transfer will be responsible for providing student transportation to and from school. Bus passes will be approved on space availability and we will not be reviewed until four (4) weeks after school starts.
Laptop distribution for middle and high school students
Secondary students will be expected to bring a laptop every day to school. The laptop must be charged and ready to use for classroom learning. Snohomish School District will provide laptops for all secondary students who a need a laptop. Students may choose to use their own device. When middle and high school students receive district laptops, students will also receive information about the Technology Protection Plan.
- Click here to download the Technology Protection Plan (English)
- Click here to download the Technology Protection Plan (Spanish)
Due to the high replacement cost of a laptop, option of purchasing a Technology Protection Plan can help offset costs in the event a laptop is damaged, lost or stolen. See plan for specific coverage. The standard enrollment fee for the Technology Protection Plan is $30. Students eligible for the free/reduced lunch program will be automatically enrolled. Students must fill out a free/reduced application to be approved.
To purchase the Technology Protection Plan return the form and pay the fee to your students' school. These forms can be mailed, emailed, or faxed to the school.
Payment for the Technology Protection Plan can be done by:
- Paid on-line though our district’s InTouch/Touchbase online payment system.
- Checks can be dropped or or mailed through USPS directly to your student’s school. Click here to be redirected to all school mailing addresses, phone numbers and fax numbers (www.sno.wednet.edu/ourschools)
- Payment must be received by Friday, September 30.
- Families may purchase the protection plan after September 30 with verification of working and undamaged laptop.
In opting out of the Technology Protection Plan, the family will accept full responsibility for any cost related to damage, loss, or theft. Replacement cost of a district laptop is $350. Replacement cost of a charging cord is $25.
Student accounts will be assessed fines immediately upon determination of damage and/or replacement of the laptop or cord.
Please contact your student's school for any questions regarding laptop distribution and the protection plan.

School & district news
- School newsletters - If you would like to receive district and school newsletters, or if you have a high school student who wants to receive the school Daily Bulletin, you must subscribe to our listserv subscription tool. For directions on how to subscribe or change your subscription preferences (for those already signed up), please click here.
- Facebook - Today, 11,000 Facebook fans receive regular district updates through our district's Facebook page - www.facebook.com/snohomishschooldistrict. This site is just one of many ways we communicate with our students, staff, families and community. Although we are aware of other Facebook pages, please note that this is the only verified Facebook page of the Snohomish School District and is where official information is posted.
- School Messenger - Our district uses the School Messenger automated system as a tool for communication with our parents, families and staff. School Messenger works with the district’s student-data system (Skyward/Family Access) to notify families and staff through phone and/or email of emergencies, critical school and district messages, school/district closures, inclement weather, attendance issues, underfunded student meal accounts and other events/activities. The overall goal of using this service is for parents and families to receive critical information about Snohomish schools - especially information that affects their children - in a timely manner. As long as we have accurate primary phone numbers and email addresses on record for our students in Skyward/Family Access, families should automatically receive these messages when they are sent out.

What counts as income? Who is considered a member of my household?
Look at the income chart below. Find your household size. Find your total household income. If members in the household are paid at different times during the month and you are unsure if your household is eligible, fill out an application and we will determine your income eligibility for you. The information you give will be used to determine your child's eligibility for free or reduced-price meals.
Foster children that are under the legal responsibility of a foster care agency or court are eligible for free meals regardless of personal use income. If you have questions about applying for meal benefits for foster children, please contact us at 360-563-7314.
USDA Child Nutrition Program Income Guidelines
- Household is defined as all persons, including parents, children, grandparents, and all people related or unrelated who live in your home and share living expenses. If applying for a household with a foster child, you may include the foster child in the total household size.
- Household income is considered to be the income each household member received before taxes. This includes wages, social security, pension, unemployment, welfare, child support, alimony, and any other cash income. If including a foster child as part of the household, you must also include the foster child’s personal income. Do not report foster payments as income.
Please return important health forms
Please print out and return the Emergency Information Form & Health History Form when your child returns to school. These forms must be completed each year and are critical should an emergency situation should arise. These forms are also used by our school nurses who work with student families on care plans for those with life-threatening conditions such as anaphylaxis, diabetes, seizures or asthma. Paper copies are also available in every school office and they are included in the back of the district's multi-page district calendar.
Student immunizations
Make sure your child's immunizations are up to date! It is important to make sure your child goes to their regularly scheduled wellness appointments, which often include immunizations. Make sure to turn in your updated immunization paperwork to the school by Wednesday, September 7.
This reminder is especially important if your child is transitioning to preschool, kindergarten, or 7th grade, as each of these grades has additional immunization requirements. Please click here for additional information about state vaccine requirements.
Every student enrolled/registered in school or childcare in the state of Washington must have medically verified up-to-date immunization records on file with the school in which they are enrolled/registering before the first day of school, 2022-2023. Medically verified immunization records include one or more of the following:
- A Certificate of Immunization Status (CIS) printed from the Immunization Information System (IIS)
- A physical copy of the CIS form with a healthcare provider signature
- A physical copy of the CIS form with accompanying medical immunization records from a healthcare provider verified and signed by school staff
- A CIS printed from MyIR
