Black History Month Focus
Learn about 15 Untold Black History Inventors That Wasn't Taught in School. So many of these inventions make our life easier and better today! Families can also do more research about biographies of famous Black Americans at mel.org and click on World Books Kids. See the image below. Click on "Important People" and your child can search to learn about the lives and accomplishments of people who they are curious about.

Math & Reading Night
We are excited to welcome all families and students to our Math & Reading Night on March 2nd! We hope to see everyone there!
Bridging Math Learning at Home
Check out this link to games that will support your child's math skills practice. Click on your child's grade level and see what fun and educational games they can play at home for FREE! Thank you for making time for FUN and essential math skills practice at home!
Our math curriculum is called Bridges and it has three key parts: Number Corner, Problems & Investigations, and Workplace games. The teachers and students engage in all three parts of the curriculum daily and we would love to share some targeted Work Place games for provide extra practice and learning fun at home! Some of the games offered in this section will be for practice with what is currently being learned in class and some games will help children practice with skills already taught to keep those skills sharp. Thank you for finding time at home to encourage your child to practice math at home!
