SOME THINGS TO CONSIDER
Staff and Curriculum Development Has Changed!
...just a little.
But hopefully these changes will make it easier for you to access the resources and support that you need.
Change 1 -- We have updated the website. The address is the same easy-to-remember link that it has been for years: www.moboces.org/scd. But we have cleaned up a lot of the "stuff and things" that have accumulated over the years. Check it out!
Change 2 -- On that updated front page is a link to our newly added Office Hours. A few times a month we will be available to brainstorm, problem solve, answer questions, address concerns, and generally try to make ourselves useful to you. Each session is scheduled for 15 minutes, so come in with a clear picture of what you want out of the time we have!

Learning and Grading
An article from Edutopia with a focus on the secondary level: How to Help Students Focus on What They’re Learning, Not the Grade
"Remote and blended instruction have forced an unprecedented review of teaching and learning practices. The result: an increased awareness of what works and what doesn’t and a renewed interest in what learning looks like and how we assess it."

Oneida High School Chorus
Mrs. Heather O'Connell, the OHS Vocal Music Director, had a last minute idea on a beautiful fall day. She reached out to her Technology colleague, Mr. Peter Gillander and his student teacher Matthew Crumrine, and this beautiful video was the result.
Special thanks to the students who created this wonderful moment!
