Announcements
First, thank you very much for picking your children up on time. Today, we know sometimes it is not easy, but you are doing it great.
We also want to say "Thank you" to all the people volunteering. It's very helpful and we really appreciate that. We want to find out parents who are going on the pumpkin patch trip with drivers or who are going with parents alone. We have to know that as soon as possible in order to make the arrangements. Please e-mail us if you plan to drive your own child to the pumpkin patch.
Curriculum News.
This week we learned the letter "S" and we introduced a couple of new songs as well.
We notice that many of our students want to talk more words and new phrases in Spanish. Please keep going asking them to say more vocabulary in Spanish,. Believe us, it really helps!
This coming month, we will introduce more vocabulary for them, we mean more specific phrases like 'Ayuda por favor" (Please help), they will say something like "Lo abres por favor?" (Could you please open it for me??).
We are learning more about the 5 senses.
We have learned this week more about talking with our Lord; so they know now that when we put our hands together, we show respect to God .We are also learning that getting silent is important when we are talking to our Lord. We start saying "Papito Dios ........."
Our students now have learned how to "persignar" (The sign of the cross on our head).
They are doing awesome! It is wonderful see them how fast they learn and how respectful they are when we are talking about our Lord. They have seen some short cartoons about our brother Jesus Christ. They are very interested. They love to sing "Yo tengo un amigo que me ama" (I have a friend who loves me, his name is Jesus).
Definitely they are marvelous.
Parents are doing a great job.
Thank you very much for all your help and support.
Have a wonderful weekend and best regards.
Sincerely Miss Marseille & Miss Sonia
