Peek At The Week!
Week of 10/7/19
Principal's Message...
Our PBIS committee met and there was great conversation about our next steps to re-ignite this initiative, including bringing back our Stingray! (Thank you Christina :) ). 4th grade ambassador applications will be due by 10/15. This is a great opportunity to empower our students to be leaders and I can't wait to see them in action!
Our Safety committee also met this past week, and spent some time with our school resource officer- Shawn Clarke. We will use his insights to strengthen our systems, in the coming weeks.
During our faculty meeting, we discussed MTSS, as it pertains to behavior. Your exit ticket feedback is captured here: https://padlet.com/kkomocar1/na2j48j4d957. From the feedback, it looks like there is interest in forming an MTSS Committee. If you are interested in joining this committee, please see me.
This week, we will meet to discuss student data. Please just be prepared to speak to your student data. I am looking forward to spending this time with you and talking about our students.
I would love feedback on YOUR Peek At the Week! What do you like? What would you like to see more of? How can I make this weekly bulletin, more supportive for you?
You can leave your feedback here: https://forms.gle/sj9gB6i6V9nr1SrXA
Have a great week everyone!
~Kim
