A Message from Dr. Cassidy

Happy Friday! We have officially completed week six! I'm proud of our students, teachers and staff for all they have done to help keep us all as healthy as possible. Middle schoolers LOVE to be together. And let me tell you, keeping them three feet apart is not an easy task. They are being good sports about it and, with a lot of reminders, they are doing pretty well with it.


Interim grading reports were sent home the afternoon of September 1st. If your student forgot to give you his/hers, please be sure to ask for it. Also, please remember that you can always access your student's grades through the Schoology portal.


Thank you for all you do to help your students be successful in school. If I can help you in any way, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Come Prepared

Please be sure your student is charging his/her Chromebook EVERY night. Students should have their Chromebook and wire headphones with them every single day.

Soil Donations Needed

Liberty Middle School is implementing A Middle School Gardening Project. We will use training from Pickens County 4H and the School Gardening for SC Educators Program. Clemson Cooperative Extension and 4H will be donating seeds and vegetable transplants for all year planting. The school is in need of any Top Soil, Potting Mix or Seasoned Mulch that can be donated for this Gardening Project. Anyone interested in donating should contact Mr. Fair at rogerfair@pickens.k12.sc.us.
