This week is Red Ribbon Week. Please see below for the dress up days for the entire week:
Monday- “Sock it” to drugs (wear crazy socks)
Tuesday- “Hats off” to being drug free (wear a hat)
Wednesday- Wear red day
Thursday- “Give drugs the boot” (wear boots)
Friday- “BOO” to drugs (wear your literary character Halloween costume! No scary costumes, fake blood, or face paint.)
Friday, October 30th
- Parade @ 815: Wear your literary costumes. They can not be scary or bloody. No face paint and masks can only be worn during parade.
- Party @ 230

Reading
Monday we will evaluate our Unit 2A Test. This week we will also continue analyzing persuasive text. We have been working on persuasive writing and will continue with this writing practice as well. We will have a spelling & vocabulary test in Friday!
Math
Students will begin Unit #4: Multiplying and Dividing Decimals. We will start with multiplying decimals. Students will learn how to multiply decimals with a model first and then we will move into the algorithm midweek. Students will get unit #4 vocabulary on Monday. We will have a quiz over multiplying decimals over Friday. We are in Topic 9 in the Envision Workbooks.
Please remember math tutoring in offered on Monday's and Tuesday's from 4-5.
Science
We will continue with Unit #4: Forms of Energy. Students will learn about refraction and reflection. Please continue to have students study notes and vocabulary. Students will have a vocabulary quiz on Thursday.

Social Studies
We will begin the Revolutionary War. Students should have brought home their login for Social Studies Weekly. On that website students can view the current newspaper we are working on and play games that will reinforce the content.
