The Weekly Roar
Notes from Nick Novak: Sunday May 22, 2016
Kudos...
Think I missed someone? Why not give them a staff shout out on the bulletin board in the mailroom? Spread the love with a nice note!
FYI
1) The senior awards is on the morning of 5/23 and then students will have a graduation rehearsal in the afternoon before boarding buses for the boat cruise. The class of 2016 will be back in the building for the senior breakfast on Tuesday as well as the senior picture and mandatory graduation practice.
2) We begin HSA testing in government this week. Please be sure to reference the proctor schedules and info that Gina and Brian sent out. Thanks.

Ten Things Every Graduate Must Hear
There's a plethora of advice being thrown around at the this time of year... and here's some more. I liked this top ten list I found online while working on my graduation speech (you should see my Google searches). Share with graduates (and the underclassmen too. They need to hear it as well.)
1) Don't celebrate just yet.
2) Be ready to become the person you always wanted to be.
3) Make as many friends as possible.
4) Always remember your high school friends.
5) Be open to new experiences, but also have goals.
6) The world will be a different place soon. Prepare for it.
7) Alcohol will play a part in your life. Don't let it become your life.
8) Don't allow yourself to be stupid.
9) Start job searching now.
10) The world is waiting.
