In the 1920s decade or "the roaring twenties" there was jazz everywhere. Women were finally allowed to vote and wore shorter clothing. Men also wore formal clothing. Read on for more.
Fashion
In the 1920s men wore suits. They normally were formal clothing. Women wore a bit shorter clothing. They wore dresses, gowns, lipstick, etc. Women changed clothing many times a day.
Music
Anywhere you go you will hear jazz. In the 1920s jazz was everywhere. You could listen to on the recently created radio. They used electric instruments such as the electric guitar. People also listened to the blues and rock and roll.
Inventions
In 1919 the pop up toaster was invented by Charles Strite. The liquid fuel rocket was made in 1926 by Robert H. Goddard. The potato slicer was made by Jim Johnson Battler. The electric shaver was invented by Colonel Jacob Schick in 1927.
Entertainment
There was sports, radios, movies, and more in the 1920s. People played basketball, soccer, and football. Radios were popular. People listened to jazz, blues, and rock and roll. People also went to see silent movies like "The Big Catch" and "Among Those Present"
Conclusion
In the 1920's there was diffrent fashion but a lot of things back then are used now. There were movies and radios, and there is also same music. If I could go back in time I think I would go to the !920's.
