BEST at West...Be respectful, Engage in learning, Show integrity, Take responsibility

32 Days

"Don't count the days, make the days count." In 32 days, we will be celebrating the Class of 2022 and this school year will come to an end. There is a lot of learning yet to come, and many activities and celebrations that we will be able to have in a way that we haven't for the past two years.

Please encourage your students to stay engaged and finish strong!

AP Testing

Advance Placement testing begins May 2nd. We have hundreds of students who will be taking taking AP exams over a two week period. Click on this link to see the testing schedule.

Awards Assembly

Wednesday, May 25 at 9:30am we will have our all school Awards Assembly in the auditorium. Students will be recognized for outstanding accomplishments in academics, fine arts, activities, and athletics. Scholarship award winners will also be recognized. Seniors were provided this link to share their scholarship information to be included in the assembly.

End of the School Year

Wednesday, June 1, is the last day of classes for all students earning a passing grade for the semester.

On June 2 and 3, we will be running a block schedule (see below) for students who are in danger of failing the semester. Class periods will be 80 minutes long, and will provide students with one last opportunity to demonstrate their learning in an effort to earn a passing grade.

Busses will run on their normal schedule, and the cafeteria will be open all day for students who come to school, but are not required to be in a particular class period. Students in the building will need to be in either their assigned classroom or the cafeteria.

Big picture

A Few Reminders...

If your student needs to leave school during the school day, please contact our attendance secretary, Amanda Bartell, and she will send an electronic pass to the student to show the teacher. Attendance Line: 507-387-2490. Attendance Email: westattendance@isd77.org.

Please remind students that they need a front lot pass to park in the student lot, and a back lot pass (limited number for PSEO students) to park in the back lot. The baseball lot is available for students who do not have a pass. Due to the limited parking, students parking without a permit are subject to towing.
