Description of Tour
On March 20, 2013 we will be visiting three places influenced be Greeks in Danielville. They are the Daniel Institute of Education, Daniel College of Medicine, and the Olympic Stadium.

Danielville Tour
We will meet at Dan, Danielville, where we will take a bus to the institute, then the college, and lastly the Olympic Stadium. Please bring a lunch or money to buy food!

Daniel Institute of Education
The institute has columns, friezes, and metopes. These are all Greek contributions. The friezes is the line of statues formed by the roof. The metopes are the statues themselves.
Daniel College of Medicine
The college has something called the Hippocratic Oath. Graduating doctors have to take this oath. The oath was created by the "father of medicine," Hippocrates. He also believed that sickness were caused by natural causes, which it true.
The Olympic Stadium
The Olympic were a Greek contribution. The javelin throw, long jump, boxing, wrestling, and foot races were all events that were started by Greeks and still are events today.
Why
Visitors who are interested in Greek contriburtions should come because all these contributions were from Greeks and they are still used today.
