Student Intent To Return Forms

Your family should have received a Student Intent to Return Form in the mail last week. If you haven't already, please return the form to your child's teacher or the CPA office as soon as possible. Knowing your enrollment plans for the fall helps us in our planning. If you have any questions, please contact the CPA office. Thank you!

Words of Wisdom

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, this week our words of wisdom are an excerpt from Dr. Martin Luther King Junior's "I Have a Dream" speech. You can read the full text of this speech here, or watch a video of it here.

"But there is something that I must say to my people, who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice: In the process of gaining our rightful place, we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again, we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.

The marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the Negro community must not lead us to a distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny. And they have come to realize that their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom.

We cannot walk alone.

And as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall always march ahead.

We cannot turn back."

Give Kids a Smile!

Minnesota dental professionals are concerned about the growing number of low-income children who face barriers to dental care. That’s why thousands of dental professionals come together on the first Friday and Saturday of February to provide free dental care to children in need.

This special event is called β€œGive Kids a Smile” and is coordinated by the Minnesota Dental Association. The dental care will be available in community-based clinics and private practices in many locations throughout Minnesota.

All patients must have appointments in advance and be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Parents may call United Way 211 (just dial 2- 1-1) or 800-543-7709. Operators will have a list of participating dental offices and will be able to direct people to a location in their area. Parents will then call the dental office to schedule an appointment.

An online list is also available at www.mndental.org.

CPA is Now Enrolling!

CPA is currently accepting enrollment applications for the 2022-2023 school year. Currently enrolled students do not need to reapply.

If you have any family or friends who are looking to join a new school community, please encourage them to apply and send them this link! Thanks for your support.

We expect this program to be up and running later this winter.

There are 5 types of food bags available to suit your dietary preferences. On the registration form, you can see the kinds of food each bag contains and choose your preference.
