What's Happening this Week...

We are Stronger Together.

We have so many exciting events happening on campus. From fall sports, to clubs, tutoring, and Beyond the Bell. There is something for everyone. Please help your student to get involved. Studies show students involved in extracurricular activities assists students with success both during school and beyond.

We thank you for your continued efforts to get your students to school on time and prepared for the day. Our SWEEP numbers are decreasing and students are in class and learning.

On the other side, we have had an increase in disruptions on campus and in the community, mainly during lunch, after school, and social media. Please talk with your student about appropriate behavior while at school, in the community, and on the internet. Disruption is not only fighting, but includes sustained loud talk, yelling, or screaming; noise with materials; horseplay or roughhousing; or sustained out-of-seat behavior. Disruptive behaviors will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action.

We appreciate your support and cooperation. Thank you for working to make Westview the best it can be.

Ms. Adrianne Penullar is our Teacher of the month.

Ms. Penullar demonstrates Pride, Performance and Perseverance every day with her students. She teaches General Chemistry and AP Chemistry. She is our NHS club Sponsor. Her dedication, passion, and commitment to education has made a profound impact on our students. Please join us in celebrating this outstanding educator.

Mr. William Chaffee is our "Knight" of the month. A tradition of being Knighted by his colleagues. He embodies the true spirit of honor, selflessness, and going above and beyond for our students. He is an exceptional science teacher and Coach who consistently demonstrates unwavering integrity and willingness to help others on their educational journey.

In order for TUHSD and WHS to keep safety and security a priority, we are enforcing the following:

Good Sportsmanship is an expectation for ALL. Inappropriate behavior or language may result in removal from the event.

No bags/backpacks/over-sized purses will be permitted at our events (may be subject to a search)

No outside food or drink will be permitted in our events (gym, PAC, Fields)

Food/Drink can be consumed in the appropriate designated areas
