Breakfast in Bread


All-Purpose Flower (for dusting)

1 Sheet of frozen pastry (1/2 of a 17 to 18 oz. package) thawed

2 strips of Bacon

1 1/2 cup of shredded havarti cheese

3 tablespoons of shredded parmesan cheese

4 Large Eggs

Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
Chopped chives (for topping)


  • preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  • Line baking sheet with parchment paper
  • On a lightly floured surface roll out puff pastry into a 12 inch square and cut into 4 equal squares
  • Fold and pinch the edges of each square to form 4 round tart shells
  • Move to prepared baking sheet and prick all over with a fork
  • Bake for 8 to 10 mins or til golden brown
