The Ripple
November Issue
Crooked Creek Elementary School
From Principal Parquet
We love having the kids in the building. They are doing a great job with the new procedures and expectations. Please help us by reminding them to wear their masks correctly at all times. It is hard for the littles to keep it covered over their nose.
Please remember that we are passing out tardy passes after 8:30. To ensure students are in their classrooms on time, please have them at school by 8:25.
If you have not set up your Parent Square accounts, please do so. This is the main mode of communication with families. Teachers are able to send direct messages to families as well as group messages.
We can't believe that it is already November. Students will take their NWEA tests this month. In December students will take their F and P Reading Assessment. Then teachers will meet with the Instructional Team to discuss successes and areas of concerns and then supports will be made for students needing extra support. Please continue to have students read every night. This will help students so much. Practicing math facts is also a great idea.
We continue to thank you for all you are doing to support our school. As the weather changes continue to monitor the health of the students. Please don't send students to school who are exhibiting any signs of COVID-19. We appreciate you keeping your child as well as the staff and children of CC safe and healthy.
Thanks,
Keana Parquet
