We hope that you all are enjoying a happy, healthy weekend with family and friends. As a reminder, there is no school for students on Monday, September 6th in observance of Labor Day. We have had another awesome week of learning and are excited to welcome our students back Tuesday, September 5th.

Parents, please remember to have your child charge their iPads nightly to be prepared for the next day. Also, please check their Canvas courses if your child is working from home due to quarantines. They do have assignments that are listed and need to be completed. Please continue to contact your child's teachers if you are unable to view their information and assignments.

We would like to reiterate some of our school policies and procedures. Although this has not become a big problem, we want to address it before it does. All rules and policies are in place to protect instructional time for learning, and this is compliant with our School Board Policies.

1) Cell phones- Students are not allowed to have cellphones during instructional time and may check their cell phones in between classes. All students must keep their cell phones in their lockers or their book bags. They may not be visible during classes. There will be consequences if they have them out during these times.

2) Dress Code- Please revisit the dress code with your child. Students may not wear shorts that are not appropriate length. This includes but are not limited to certain types of sophie shorts or biker shorts. If students wear them they must meet the requirements. We have also seen an issue with rips in jeans. The rips in jeans must not be above the upper thigh and we should not see their undergarments. If your child has rips above this point, they must wear tights up under their jeans.

3) Student Pick-Up- Our school cut-off time for pick up is 1:45 p.m. for us to prepare for dismissal. We can make your child a car rider if you call the school after 1:45 p.m. It has become difficult trying to process students after this time. We need your assistance with this matter.

Please be mindful of the heat! Game time changes (beginning at 6) may occur due to the heat index. You will be contacted!
