Global Internships

Gain Experience. Get Credit. Go Global.

Take Charge

UC Berkeley Global Internships give you the unique opportunity to earn academic credit while gaining practical experience in your field of interest in both domestic and international locations. Rather than undergoing a time consuming search on your own, the Global Internship team works with you to find an internship placement that fits your academic background and meets your career goals. In addition to the internship, you will be enrolled in an online internship course as well as a local course for all international locations.

Financial aid and scholarships are available for UC Berkeley students.

This year, Berkeley Abroad has an unprecedented amount of scholarship money for need-based awards. All students with an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of $50,000 or less are guaranteed a scholarship of $1,500. Qualifying participants will automatically received the award - no application is necessary.

*Note: The guaranteed scholarship does not apply to the San Francisco Bay Area Internship Program.
