CR West Wk 1 ~ 9/7/16

To Know God and Make Him Known

Thank you

Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to ensure we got off to a great start on Week 1! I am so thankful for each of you and your dedication not only to homeschooling but to ensuring we have a successful community!

Like I said at the Faculty Meeting, I would encourage you to K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Sweetie) as you work though the material at home. For you Essentials moms, remember do something that is easy for your child, plus one thing that is more challenging (easy + one). For you Foundations moms, take it one day at a time. Repeat, repeat, repeat... in the car, at home, in the shower, and let the Grammar stage work for you. :-)

Have a blessed weekend!

Android App Now Available

The Cycle 2 Foundations Memory Work Tutorial App is now available for Android devices at the Google Play store. It costs $15.99. The app is also available for those with Apple products. If you'd like to see it I can show it to you on Wednesday. The great thing about it is that you do NOT need wifi to run the app.

You should have received an email from CC with more details, but let me know if you did not.

Worthy Website

If you enjoy exploring the internet to see what CC resources are available from moms, here is one I recommend. It's great for tutors as well!

Final Fees

If you have not yet paid your facility fee, the cost is $78.00 for the first semester. Checks can be made payable to me.

If you are participating in our childcare program, the cost is $150.00 for the first semester. Cash should be given to Carrie Diehl.

Thank you!

Ephesians

Thank you to Mrs. Cancel for leading our Ephesians memory work this year. You can find the entire text on page 134 of the Foundations Guide. We will cover one verse per week.

Also, there is free Bible Memory Work for each cycle on the main CC website. Click on "Connected" in the top right of the page and then scroll down. It's a free pdf download.

Next Week

For next week....

Moms on Playground Duty are Colleen S. and Carrie.

Family Presentation is the Clinefelter Family.

Suggested speech topic is to recite a Bible passage. You could have kids memorize a short passage or recite a favorite story from the Bible, for example.
