Ovarian cancer is a type of cancer that begins in the ovaries. Women have two ovaries, one on each side of the uterus.
Is it hard to Diagnose?
Ovarian cancer often goes undiagnosed until it has spread within the pelvis and abdomen. At this stage, ovarian cancer is very hard to treat and is often deathly.
Stages of Ovarian cancer
Stage 1
The cancer is just developing.
Stage 2
Cancer continues to grow.
Stage 3/4
The cancer spreads throughout the body.
