Env. Science B: Week 4 Update
6 week Summer 2017
This Week's Focus: Human Populations
We will finish our study of Mineral and Energy Resources and begin our study of Populations, Biodiversity and the Politics of Sustainability this week. Specifically, we will be focusing on climate change, mineral resources, nonrenewable energy, and renewable energy. More information about the content, the location of each handout, and helpful hints for each assignment can be found in Module 7: Mineral and Energy Course Resources and Module 8: Populations, Biodiversity, and the Politics of Sustainability Course Resources
Did you know that tests/projects are 40% of your grade in this course?
If you aren't doing as well as you'd like on the tests, ask yourself:
- Am I reading through ALL of the module's pages BEFORE you start the test?
- Are you watching the Adobe Sessions for the extra points on your test AND help with the concepts on the test BEFORE you start the test?
- Are you asking questions about what you don't understand BEFORE you start the test?
If you aren't doing ALL of these things, why not try doing them just once? It couldn't hurt your grade and you just might be surprised with how well you do on the test!
