Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police have made elaborate arrangements for the immersion of idols of Goddess Durga in makeshift ponds in Twin Cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack to be held on Wednesday.

In Bhubaneswar, three makeshift ponds have been created near the banks of Kuakhai, Daya and Bhargavi rivers for idol immersion.
