Shouting a giant thank you to our amazing Custodial Team of Mr. Omar and Mr. Fernando as we celebrated National Custodian Day last Sunday. They go above and beyond to make Clark an amazing place to learn!
We are also celebrating the addition of two new staff members this month! Mr. Joey Simonelli will be coming on board as our new Caretaker and will get our grounds looking absolutely amazing as well as bringing his positive attitude and energy to the team. We are also thrilled to welcome Mrs. Michelle Villwock as our new AP. She will join us 10/31 and brings many years of experience that will benefit Clark greatly.
Announcements and Updates

October is National Bullying Prevention Month. Every Monday during the month of October, students, schools, and communities all over the world are wearing blue to join in solidarity and standing behind bullying prevention. Every day is a celebration!
Make a Difference Mondays! We want to shout out two people who make a huge difference at Clark. Mr. Omar and Mr. Fernando go above and beyond to create a great place to learn. We celebrate them not just on National Custodians Day, but everyday!
Take Care Tuesdays! Today’s tip is to try to be clutter free. Reducing clutter actually promotes mental wellness. Having clutter around can make you feel anxious or overwhelmed. This prevents you from truly relaxing or focusing.
Way to Go Wednesdays! We want to shout out Noor Fernandez. A parent submitted that Noor has been helping many students with Spanish work. Thanks for being a positive peer, Noor.
Thankful Thursdays! We are thankful for the social service people who help our students with any emotional wellness needs. We want to shout out Ms. Kristin from Tykes and Teens as well as Ms. McCormic from Martin County who both come to Clark to help our students. If you would like someone to talk to, even just once or twice, see Ms. Jones and she will link you up!
Fun Fact Fridays! Greenland Sharks are known to be some of the oldest living animals in our world. Researchers did carbon dating on a Greenland Shark that was caught in 2014 and found it to be around 392 years old. Further testing revealed that our fishy friends could be up to 500 years old. Yes, that would mean that our geriatric friends would have been alive when Leonardo Da Vinci painted the "Mona Lisa."
