BROOKDALE BOBCAT PRINTS
October 28, 2019
Principal Message
Thanks to everyone for joining us for Goodies with Grown-Ups and the Monster Mash! Both events were wonderful and I know students loved having a special grown-up join them! We couldn't have done either event without the volunteers that participated - ThAnK YoU to ALL!
As you may know, attendance is a very important part of academic success. To encourage good attendance, we have a variety of incentives in place! At each B.O.B.C.A.T. Pride assembly, we honor one K-2 and one 3-5 grade student who has not missed more than 1 day for the month with a $10.00 Walmart gift card. Every time a classroom has 10 days of 100% attendance, they will be recognized on the morning announcements. Thanks for all of your efforts in getting your student(s) to school every day!
Halloween Parties - The district policy regarding parties is as follows: Classrooms may have Harvest celebrations. Students MAY NOT wear costumes (including make-up and/or wigs) unless it is after school hours. Please check with your child’s teacher if you haven’t already heard what their plans are for a Harvest party. It is also important to remember that if you would like to provide a treat, it MUST be store bought. We encourage healthy as opposed to sugary snacks.
