Erath Middle School Newsletter
August 2022
Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year!
Message from the Principal:
Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year. We are looking forward to having another great year. Teachers and staff members have been working hard in preparation for the coming school year. LEAP scores are in and we are very proud of our student’s hard work. As soon as we are able, we will send parents their child’s results.
As a reminder, orientation is Tuesday, August 2nd. Please remember we will not be accepting any money at this time. Parents of 6th grade students should attend orientation with their student; parents of 7th and 8th grade students do not need to attend with their students.
Student’s first day of school is Thursday, August 11th. Students are allowed on campus at 7:00 AM and our tardy bell is at 7:15. Please remember the parent drop off line goes behind the church cemetery and comes through the semi-circle. For the safety of your child they are to stay in their vehicle until directed to get out by the duty person (not the parent). For the first few days this will take some time so please be patient.
Again, we would like to welcome everyone back and are looking forward to another great year!
Ms. Primeaux
