NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL...
Last week students and staff enjoyed an assembly with Phil Tulga. In addition to bringing educational programs to schools, Mr. Tulga is a staff member in the music department at Sacramento State. This year the assembly focused on the integration of music and reading. Thanks to PTO for funding this assembly.
The first trimester ends next Friday, and parent/teacher conferences start the next week. We emailed parents information about our online conference scheduler, as well as, sending letters home with the students. The letter contains your specific log on information. If you have questions about the conference scheduler system, please call the office.
On November 13th we will hold our first trimester awards assembly. This year the assembly we are trying something new. We will continue to honor students for the same awards - attendance, AR goals, citizenship and effort/achievement - we are just trying a new process that we hope will be more fun. The assembly will be held in the cafeteria at 8:30 AM.
