Hubbard Elementary

September 2022

Hubbard Information

Thank you for helping us make our first two weeks of school so wonderful! While the first two weeks were full of establishing routines and building communities in classrooms, we are jumping into learning more and more everyday. We have begun our district benchmark assessments and classroom academic probes to help guide our instruction.

At Hubbard, we focus on using our PAWS.

P = Positive Attitude

A = Appropriate Actions

W = Working Together

S = Safety First

While we focus on using our PAWS, we look forward to celebrating our students with positive rewards and lots of praise as we learn expectations and routines.

Safety is always a priority, so we ask for family members, volunteers, and visitors to check in at the front office if they will be on the playground or in the building. Since our campus is open (no fence), our staff members work hard to look for volunteer/Hubbard badges on any adult on campus. Thank you for helping us keep our campus safe by staying at the front of the building or checking in at our front office!

Thank you Hubbard families,

Principal Burgess

Parent Advisory Committee (PAC)

The PAC is a team of parents and staff who meet monthly to think of school events, raise funds family nights, and enjoy celebrating staff!

The PAC is asking for parent support to stock the lounge! Do you have an extra box of granola bars? Are you able to bring in a bag of candy? Any little item helps the staff stay fueled and supported! Bring items to the front desk and we will keep our lounge filled with food for Hubbard staff!

Celebrate and Recognize Hubbard Staff

While we work daily to celebrate and recognize the strengths and successes of our students, I also want to celebrate the hard working staff at Hubbard. Has your child talked about a teacher or staff member who has helped them? Have you seen a staff member on campus that you would like to recognize for their work? Fill out this 1 minute form (blue button above) to help us celebrate our dedicated staff!
