Field Day
We are very excited to have field day this year! Field Day will be held on two separate days. Field day for 3rd-5th grades will be Thursday, May 5 and K-2nd grades will have their field day on Friday, May 6. Should there be inclement weather, the make-up days will be Thursday, May 12 for 3rd-5th and Friday, May 13 for K-2nd.
If you are interested in volunteering to help with Field Day, please contact Coach Bowes. All volunteers will need to have completed the Volunteer Background Check prior to the event. The link for this can be accessed by clicking the "Volunteer Background Check" button below.
Please make sure your child is dressed comfortably for field day – no sandals, flip flops or crocs, etc. Tennis shoes WITH socks help us have a safe field day. Towels, sunscreen, hats and water bottles are all acceptable. It is especially important for each student to have a water bottle as they are not allowed to use the drinking fountains in the school. Please put your child’s name on all personal items, this allows us to return items to students should they leave anything.
We are looking forward to an exciting field day!

In-person shopping will be available for students/parents at the following times:
- Monday, May 23: 8am-3pm
- Tuesday, May 24: 8am-3pm
- Wednesday, May 25: 8am-3pm
- Thursday, May 26: 8am-1pm
- Friday, May 27: 8am-12:30pm

End of the Year Assessments
End of Year Assessments for students in Grades K-3 are scheduled to begin May 2, 2022. End of Year Assessments include Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) Reading and Math for grades K-2 and Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) Reading only for Grade 3. Specific assessment dates for each subject are listed below.
- Monday May 2 - Kindergarten MAP Reading Fluency Assessment
- Tuesday May 3 - Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Grade MAP Reading Growth Assessment
- Wednesday May 4 - Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grade MAP Math Growth Assessment & 3rd Grade MAP Reading Fluency
- Thursday May 5 - 1st and 2nd Grade MAP Reading Fluency Assessment
