Reminder - No School for students on Friday, October 28th

Congratulations to the Blue Devil Varsity Football Team

Congrats to the Blue Devil Football team on making into the post season. The Gaylord Blue Devils will face the Mt. Pleasant Oilers on Friday, October 28th at 7:00 PM. Gaylord fans interested in attending should review the document we received from Mt. Pleasant below:

Friday night's game vs Gaylord is an MHSAA tournament event. This means passes normally

used for home MPHS events will not be accepted. The only way to attend the game is by

purchasing a ticket through GoFan. Tickets are $7 and can be purchased here:

https://gofan.co/app/events/749179?schoolId=MI4566

There will be card readers on site if you would prefer to purchase with a credit card at the gate.

This may require you to wait in line. The preferred method is to purchase tickets on your phone through the GoFan link above.

Please read the following safety protocols that are in effect for home football games. Arriving

15-20 minutes early is suggested in order to avoid delays in security checks.

MPHS Home Football Safety Protocols and Procedures

bag brought into the stadium will be searched upon entry. STT Security, MPPS Administration

-All fans may be subject to screening by a metal detector.

-All K-8 students will be encouraged to have an adult supervisor with them to be able to

enter the stadium, as well as during the game.

-No re-entry into the stadium will be allowed once a spectator exits the stadium.

-Any physical or verbal altercation will not be tolerated and offending parties will be

immediately ejected from the stadium and potentially banned from attending any

Drama Club

The GHS Drama Club is putting on The Play that Goes Wrong November 3rd-6th.

The Cornley Drama Society just wants to put on a 1920s murder mystery. The problem? They’re not very good. From sets breaking to actors passing out to missing props to missed cues, everything that can go wrong does. See this Tony-award winning show that Laura Hotelling calls “literally the funniest show I’ve ever seen” November 3-5 at 7:00 P.M. and November 6 at 2:00 P.M. The website for tickets in advance is www.our.show/ghsgoeswrong. Tickets will also be available in person, but they’re cheaper when you buy them online.
