Updates from Manassas Park Middle School - 3/15/2019
Week 28 - Spring is in the air...
On Thursday evening our amazing 7th & 8th grade women's and men's choirs performed selections that will be part of their choir assessments this coming week. The students, led by the fantastic Ms. Burcher, did an amazing job! We wish them luck on the 20th and 21st as they complete their District Choir Assessments that are hosted at MPMS. A special thank you goes out to Susan Casoni for playing the Celtic Harp while families arrived for the concert! The music was beautiful!
On Wednesday morning a portion of our Civics 8 classes went to the Prince William Courthouse to observe court cases, participate in a mock trial and ask questions of the judge. This was an amazing opportunity for our students! A lot of emotions were felt and life lessons learned.
The 8th grade writing SOL is complete for the school year! A huge shout out to our amazing teachers that worked tirelessly to prepare the students!
