Muskrats

Habitat
The wetlands are home to the muskrats. Muskrats make dens others make lodges out of sticks and mud.
Diet
Muskrats look for food in the morning and evening.Their long front teeth to help them eat water plants and cattails. Muskrats are omnivores so they eat animals too like frogs or fish.
Appearance
Muskrats are brown and black. Muskrat baby's are gray and light gray. Muskrats have a tail like a beavers.
Adaptations
Muskrats are camouflage with the mud and water.
Interesting fact
Muskrats can hold their breath for 12 minutes !
