What we are working on
Here are some answers to questions that you may have:
1. Yearbooks - we are arranging plans with LifeTouch to get everyone a yearbook that ordered a copy. More to come. Yearbooks may be passed out when we send home the Trimester 3 report card. We will know more soon.
2. School-wide Read: Humphrey $ - Our Tiogue Reading Committee met last week and we decided to work on Humphrey when we return to school in the fall. For those of you that paid for a book, your child will get their copy when we return to school.
3. Unified T-Shirt Orders - same protocol as our Humphrey Book - we will continue this initiative when we return to school. Students will get their Tiogue Unified T-Shirts in the fall.
4. Materials left in desks at school - we are making plans as an Administrative Team along with our Facilities Director to create a plan to get all student materials and items back to them. More to come on this in the coming weeks.
Spring According to Humphrey will be back in the FALL!!

$10,000 Challenge!
To our Leadership Schools: Best wishes,
We are inviting you to share in a $10,000 challenge we are offering to our schools. We are asking you to inform your students to place signs in their windows, thanking everyone who is working to keep our country going in this perilous time, identifying themselves as Feinstein Junior Scholars and with the name of their school.
Tag and share your signs with us! When schools reopen, we will divide our $10,000 among all our leadership schools that participated.
P.S. Let’s raise that $10,000 to $20,000!
P.P.S. No, better still, let’s make it $30,000!

SurveyWorks! for families is still open. THE RI DEPT OF EDUC HAS EXTENDED THE DATE FOR FAMILIES TO TAKE THIS ANNUAL SURVEY
SURVEY WORKS INFORMATION BELOW:
Dear Parents & Guardians:
Students in grades 3-5 took the survey when we were in school this winter.
The Rhode Island Department of Education is currently administering its yearly SurveyWorks Family Survey, which is an opportunity for parents & guardians to provide feedback about our school and our children’s opportunities to learn. The survey results are most useful when all parents participate, so I am writing to ask you to participate in this survey.
Your views on matters like the safety of your child at school, the way students are taught, the condition of the school, and how connected you feel to this school are important. By taking this short survey you can help our school leadership and our parent-teacher organization to make improvements to our school. Responses are anonymous and cannot be linked to any individual; no one can tie your responses back to you.
You can take the short survey online between now and April 30th.
To take the survey, visit: surveys.panoramaed.com/ride then enter: 06116family to gain access to Tiogue School's Survey. Each school in the state has their own individual code.
Thank you,
Dom Giusti
