Awesome BMX assembly last Friday!
Visit from Butterfly Expert, Rick Mikula with 3rd grade!
Be sure to ask about the many fun and interesting things we learned about - for example, did you know there's an entire group of caterpillars known in the butterfly world as poo-flingers? Seriously!
It's quite an adaption these caterpillars have made to keep wasps away from their feeding areas as the waste is what attracts the wasps. Trust me, that was just the tip of information iceberg!! Science can be so cool . . . . . and Mr. Mikula definitely shows our students how.
What an awesome presentation!!
Be a part of a butterfly release with Rick Mikula! He will be at the Delaware Valley Market on June 22nd and at NoneSuch Farms later in the summer.
I'm waiting on more specifics (times) and will pass along the opportunity as I learn more.

Please join Central Bucks School District in supporting the 9/11 Heroes Run. Registration is now open for the September 15th event. Doylestown borough will once again host a 5k and 1 mile fun walk/run to raise support and awareness for all of the heroes of September 11th.
