April 29, 2016

Hello, Mustangs!

This has been a wonderful week filled with pride for students, teachers and administrators. This is the "good" kind of pride! Happy hearts! Teachers taught their hearts out while students ground through the learning. Testing arrived for our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders and they stayed calm and focused. Truly...our students made my heart happy!! I am very proud of each and every one of them as well as our teachers!

I do hope that you are able to attend Kid's Day in Lexington tomorrow! Saturday will be a fun filled day! We wish our Spring Chorus the best as they perform at 10:30 a.m. Thank you to our parents, students, and teachers--Ms. Rogers and Ms. Rhyner--for making Midway shine in our community!

We look forward to this coming week as we collect Box Tops for Education and show our appreciation to our teachers. I do thank each of you for your personal touches in supporting our faculty and staff. You are the BEST!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Jan Fickling, Principal of Midway Elementary
