The Weekly Buzz 🐝
From Palmer River Elementary School
December 1, 2023
Dear Families,
We've finished week twelve of the school year, and it was extra fun! Every student had the opportunity to visit the PTSA-sponsored Gingerbread Shoppe. This shopping experience is an annual favorite for our students, and they carefully and thoughtfully selected gifts for loved ones, highlighting the spirit of giving.
Thank you to the PTSA and all of the volunteers who put together this exceptional event and kept everything running smoothly. We appreciate your willingness to be active members of our school community!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Kristine Kefor, Principal & Dr. Cheryl Leandro, Assistant Principal

Safety at Morning Drop Off
We are sending along a reminder that students should remain in vehicles while waiting in the morning drop off line. It is important that students do not leave their vehicles until they are close to staff and the crosswalk. Additionally, we have noticed that some children are hanging out the windows and the sunroofs of cars while awaiting drop off. This is dangerous, and it is putting children at risk of serious injury in the event of an accident, so we ask that students refrain from doing this, as well. Thank you for helping to keep our drop off procedures as safe as possible.
