P.M. Villano School
Remember to bring your favorite book with you to the first day of school. This book can be one that you read recently or one that you enjoyed years ago. Whatever you choose, just be sure that it is a book that you truly love. I will also plan to bring my all-time favorite book with me, and we will spend time sharing why these books are special to us.
Needed for the First Day of School:
Where do you like to read? Ask someone to take a picture of you reading at this special location. Email me or print this photo so that we can display your picture in our classroom.
A Message for the Grown-Ups:
Hello and welcome to Class 3-P. I am looking forward to sharing an exciting year full of learning with your children. Thank you for purchasing the necessary supplies for school. These supplies will allow us to have an organized and productive year.
I consider it a great privilege and responsibility to be your child’s teacher this year and I look forward to working with you to make this a very successful year. In thinking about our school day there are a few bits of information that I feel would be helpful for you to know.
We will be having a HEALTHY and NUT-FREE snack each morning.
Birthday snacks are enjoyed in the afternoon.
It is recommended that a water bottle be sent in each day.
If your child is absent, then you may choose to have the missed work sent home at the end of the school day. Please call the office before noon to make this request.
Villano uses a rotating specials schedule, and we will start the year by having music class Monday-Thursday.
Physical education will be held on Fridays for the beginning of the year.
Our informal Meet and Greet is scheduled for 9/7 at 3:00.
Back To School Night is on the calendar for September 22nd.
Our Mystery Reader sign-up sheet is now available at www.SignUpGenius.com/go/20F0A48A4A62CAAFB6-class1
Please be sure to either order or bring lunch on September 8th, the first day of school.
