A New Friend in the Counseling Office…
We are excited to announce that we will welcome a new visitor to the Counseling Office periodically throughout this school year. Milo (3-year-old miniature Schnauzer) and his owner, Michelle Lehmann (EHS Counselor) are a Pet Partners certified therapy team https://petpartners.org/about-us/who-we-are/ At Pet Partners, “we believe that the human-animal bond is a mutually beneficial relationship that improves the physical, social and emotional lives of those we serve. We are motivated by connection, compassion, and a commitment to sharing this meaningful bond with everyone who can benefit from time spent with an animal.”
Milo and Ms. Lehmann volunteer with North Star Therapy Animals, an organization in which “the common purpose is to improve the lives of as many individuals in our communities as we possibly can, by providing high-quality therapy animal teams and services to a wide variety of facilities.”
The therapy team of Ms. Lehmann and Milo will be providing service at Eagan High School this year. We hope that you have a chance to meet Milo soon!

Freshman Retreat Information: Tuesday, December 14, 2021
The Youth Frontiers Respect Retreat® inspires students to respect themselves more, to respect others and to stand up for respect in your school. The retreat reminds students that they matter, and that there is a supportive community of educators, mentors and classmates around them. We challenge students with the message that someone acting with character does not make fun of, bully or torment anyone for any reason. We engage the bystanders to stand up for the value of respect in your hallways, lunch lines and classrooms. Participation in the retreat results in cognitive, attitudinal and behavioral shifts that decrease students’ distractions to learning and build a positive school community.
We ask all 9th grade students to attend the Eagan Respect Retreat. The cost is $25.00
The cost will be $0 if on Free and Reduced Lunch.
Very few freshmen remain in the building that day.
