Helpful Tip: Clip your student badge to your backpack loop!

We are trying to reach a goal of 100% of our students having their student badge with them at school. We have not yet reached this goal during the first 67 days of the 2016-2017 school year. YIKES! While many classrooms have reached this goal, we are aiming for ALL classrooms to reach this which will take place when ALL 526 students bring their student badge to school! Can we do it? YES we can! We are the EAGLES! Eagles SOAR!

Tip:

Clip your student ID badge/lanyard to the hook on your backpack.

Kingsley, first grade student, displays what she does each evening before leaving English Landing . Attaching her badge and lanyard to her backpack has worked for her!

The COLD Weather is COMING!

Looking for Shoe Boxes for Maker Space

Do you have any empty shoe boxes that need a new home?

The library needs your help! First grade is ready to begin their MakerSpace event following our Adopt a Pet research unit. First graders need shoe boxes…lots of shoe boxes! The vision, is for each student to have one shoebox to create a habitat for their researched pet. That means MakerSpace needs close to 100 boxes. We would love any donations! Thank you!
