Thank You

A big thank you to everyone who participated in the Read Across America/Read Me Week activities. Even though it was cut short due to our snow days, the students enjoyed the special dress up days and guest readers. I appreciate all of you on the Library/Literacy Committee for all of your help to make Family Reading Night a success.

***Please remember to write thank you notes or cards for your guest readers and send them to me. If you don't remember their name, I have it.

4th Nine Weeks

Since we all won't be together for our planning day on the 18th, please let me sit in during your next team meeting for a few minutes. Or I can plan with those team members that are here that day. I just need to know what you will be emphasizing this quarter so I can plan items for the Library Menu.

April is Poetry Month

One thing all grade levels would benefit from is a focus on poetry this month. The poetry section of the library is seldom visited and there wonderful books there. Students could type up a favorite poem and insert clip art to go with it, memorize a short poem to recite, or just enjoy the works of a single poet.
