FREE After School Music Class from SD Youth Symphony!!

Pepper Drive School is excited to announce our partnership with the district Out of School Time (Project Safe) and the San Diego Youth Symphony to provide FREE Strings Instrument Classes for 4th-6th grade students who enroll in the program (link below), and can commit to this one-year program.

Volunteer Application Online

Please click here to complete the first requirement of the Pepper Drive Volunteer Application. After completion, you will need to bring your Photo ID to the school office. Background checks take approximately 2 weeks. You will be notified by email when you are approved. Then you can arrange volunteer opportunities with the classroom teacher.


If you have already been approved and plan to volunteer with Peppers Too, please come any Thursday morning (8:45) to room J, after signing in at the office.

Back to School Nights!

Grades 5-8 Fundraiser!

Starting next Monday 9/19/22, we will be kicking off a two-week Fundraiser. This is a great opportunity to raise funds for 6th grade camp, and 8th grade trips!


Next week, students will be provided the below letter and "Look Book". All the steps you need to raise money with Boon Supply are stated in the letter, and it's easy!

P.S. We have informed Boon Supply that they have incorrectly typed our school name as "Pepper St. School" on the letter. We are hoping they can correct the error in time for the printed letters, but if not, this will not effect the fundraiser or your student getting credit for the items that are sold their link.

Soapy Joes Fundraiser Update

On September 1st, we partnered with Soapy Joes to kick off their new location and to help Pepper Drive at the same time. We are excited to announce that Soapy Joes was generous enough to increase our proceeds percentage to 50% and our community raised $540 for our school!

Parent Book Study

Parent Book Study

Are you interested in learning more about how to better support your child? Could you be available once monthly for an evening meeting to brainstorm with other parents around a common book study? We are hosting a parent book study around Thrivers: The Surprising Reasons Why Some Kids Struggle and Others Shine by Michele Borba, Ed.D. If you are interested or would like to know more, please email Mrs. Bradbury at Summer.Bradbury@santeesd.net Our first meeting will be held on 9/29 at 5pm at the school.
